2018: A year of priddysweet giving

Monday, January 8th, 2018

I have been brewing this for a little while and trying to figure out how to make it a reality. Over the Christmas holiday it was made clear to me that my mission for 2018 is to give. I am being called to give BOLDLY… While this causes a bit of uncertainty (will I be able to give enough?), i am seeking true freedom:: freedom to follow, freedom to fail, freedom to live abundantly by living as I am called. Therefore, I pledge to give 50% of every profit that comes in through my business in 2018. This is where I will need your help in a few ways:

1) Please hire me! :) The more we work, the more we can give.

2) Please offer your suggestions of where you would love to see the money go.

3) Please pass this along to your friends!

Every 3 months I will prayerfully choose a worthy cause or two in need of extra funds and donate 50% of priddysweet’s profits to that cause. And to make what I do more accessible, I am streamlining the back end of the sessions, offering digitals and reducing the costs of several types of sessions. I will also hopefully be offering more mini sessions (and not just on a single day). I am truly looking forward to this year and hope to see your faces through my lenses. LETS DO THIS THING! Stay tuned for updates on new sessions! And then plan to get your make up on and your hair-DID! xoxo

Paint Party ANNOUNCED ( RESCHEDULED due to weather)

Sunday, April 30th, 2017

 paintpartyweb2What’s more fun than throwing paint on your sister’s forehead or coloring your brother’s hair with globs full of slimy green ooze paint? (Nothing, that’s what)! We are celebrating the end of the school year with a bang! You don’t want to miss this! ****Due to chances for heavy thunderstorms today we are rescheduling our paint party for JULY 22, 2017 **** Reserve your space now before it fills up! Your kids are going to make a big mess* and have a great time and we are going to capture it all and even clean it up for you!

You can reserve by emailing: or by phone: 615-578-3230

*White shirts and a fresh change of clothes are recommended. The paint IS washable but might leave color spots on some types of fabrics so we encourage clothing that is somewhat disposable. 😉 All the details of the event will be provided at time of reservation. WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU!! (more…)

Baby Trista

Thursday, September 27th, 2012

Her arrival was nothing short of a celebration…she was prayed for and anticipated by such loving friends and family. Welcome, Baby Trista! This sweet child is so loved…you can just feel it when you’re in the room with all of them together. Her sweet chubby baby cheeks and pouty lips…I can’t even stand how sweet she is! Oh and she has some awesome hobbies to grow into too, I might add! Enjoy a peek into her newborn session. Many thanks to Will and Arlene for sharing her with us!! :) (more…)

Awaiting baby Trista {equestrian maternity}

Wednesday, September 12th, 2012

Confession: These are my favorite sessions– the equestrian maternity sessions. And seriously, the light could not have been more gorgeous that evening in west Knoxville (The light paling only in comparison to the gorgeous mom-to-be and her beau, of course). If I could post every single one of these images, I would. This is not a lie. Just ask Arlene.

One of the sweetest and most gracious couples ever are Will and Arlene. I love being around them. I love their sense of humor and how much they love each other. It just seeps out of their pores. They’re truly in love and its SUCH a blessing just to be in their company. Not forgetting about Chester, and “baby” of course (* “baby” has two meanings with this crew…we have a horse named “Baby” as well as a child in the womb also called “baby” at the time…yep. learned that one the hard way* haha!!), this family is just lots and lots of fun.

Arlene and Will awaiting baby Trista– without further ado! Enjoy these! And leave them some comment-love below too! 😉 (more…)
