well we’ve seen plenty of “April (AND MAY) Showers” around here as you all know. And with all of the rain comes new growth. For us here in Nashville (and surrounding counties) we will be watching a lot of growth. Not only of our communities and neighborhoods but for many their homes and lives…literally from the ground up. Please keep our city (and other cities that were also affected by the flood) in your hearts and minds for the weeks ahead. There is still so much to do around here…

While we gear up for our next photography assignment (which will be announced *hopefully* on Monday!!), I want to take a minute to appreciate the growth in our lives. :) Our family project a few weekends ago was planting vegetable seeds. We planted organic carrots, squash and basil….so far. There are some high hopes set to plant more veggies from seeds but we want to test our thumbs out with these 3 first. Of course I had some help…_006web

in this case “watching it grow” is bittersweet. :( time, please slow down!!
