what do I love about this image? oh lots of things: the colors, the lights….the way you can feel the crispness of this uniquely cool May evening… I love that I took it while “playing.” But what do I love the MOST about this image? the fact that its straight from the camera. That makes me giddy.

open up those shutters and let in some light,

Hold please:: let me put on my teacher hat.
Ok, class. we are about to leap into springtime photography this friday (the weather is just TOO gorgeous to not be outside taking great shots). and since most of us have cameras that are more advanced than my beloved FM10 film camera (pictured above), maybe we would do a quick run-through of some bells and whistles so that everyone is familiar with our capabilities.
