January is a time of renewal. We feel fresh and new and revived. We have a “clean slate” so-to-speak. And we resolve to do better… to BE better.

Priddysweet has much on the horizon this year… Surprises will unfold randomly throughout the year (I can’t wait!! truly!!)! Since we are in the time of renewal here in January, it is the perfect time to reveal one of those surprises. Priddysweet wants to recognize those who dedicate themselves to helping others. Whether you donate your time to the soup kitchen, build a habitat house or volunteer for your church, we want to hear about it and share it with others! This is a very special project and it carries a special reward. A panel of priddysweet contributors will judge the winner and if you win, in addition to the prize below, you will be featured on the blog with a detailed report of how you “paid it forward.”

The best of 2010

This year has been awesome. Amazing. An experience. And I can’t thank you all enough for your support, encouragement and true admiration of my incredibly hard work. It is such an honor to see my art in your homes! I look around as I sit here at my desk, on the last day of this almost too fast first year and I am teary-eyed. Your faces are on my walls. Your memories are held in MY heart as well as your own. Your lives have so greatly touched mine that I can’t leave them hidden on an external hard drive back in 2010… they’re coming along with me into this new year. As I sit here, there is beauty all around me. Your faces, your families, your relationships, your horses.. all just beautiful. I am so blessed. So very, VERY blessed.

So here they are. Here WE are. While you all know it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to pick favorites (its like choosing between my children), I did narrow them down to a few. Thank you, EACH of you… for a most amazing 2010. As we go forward I’m confident that 2011 will be just as incredible. I can’t WAIT for the next series of experiences to unfold!! Happy NEW YEAR to you all!!! Life IS sweet, and I’m so GLAD we’re savoring it!!
