Am I the only one who thinks these trees STINK?! (literally!!) They are my most favorite trees…so beautiful to look at but boy, it smells like we live next to a cow farm when the wind blows the right way. These trees bloom for about a week to a week and a half before their blooms fall and the leaves come through. If I could (I’d have to plug my nose) I’d put them all over my yard. Bradford Pears are wonderful shade trees and just my most favorite of all (as I mentioned before). 😉
And although I’m not complaining (ok, yes I am) the warm weather is nice. I just wish the “in between” lasted a little longer here in TN. Its either really hot or really cold. Today its mid-80s and that’s just not “spring” to me. It does make for some beautiful flowers, though.
Enjoy your springy weekend!!
